IAMI Certified Marine Investigator Requirements and Dates
Certified Marine Investigator Requirements:
  • Active Member of IAMI;
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience that must be related directly or
    indirectly to marine matters, criminology/law enforcement
    or insurance;
  • Be of high moral character;
  • Meet the minimum educational & experience requirements;
  • Maintain required continuing professional education;
  • Pass the uniform CMI Examination;
  • Pay annual Association dues; as well as CMI test & application fees;
  • Abide by the IAMI Bylaws & SOPs, Section 2, Code of Conduct.
